Troy’s Children’s Museum of Science and Technology hosts their weekly Wednesday story time, starting at 11 a.m. This week’s story relates to the monthly theme of colors and shapes and includes a hands-on activity to get kids engaged. Story time is included with museum admission.
Also this week at the Children’s Museum of Science and Technology is the weekly Sensory Play Thursday. This program stimulates young minds and introduces them to how the world works. There are weekly hands-on sensory activities that engage the senses while helping children to foster social skills. This event is ideal for children ages 2-6 and is included in your museum admission.

What better way to spend Valentine’s Day that preparing a romantic gourmet dinner for two? Chef Michael at Stoneledge Terrace is hosting a hands-on cooking class on Thursday, Feb. 14. This class covers three courses with a focus on technique and basic culinary concepts. The cost is $35 per person and advanced registration is recommended. If you can’t make Thursday’s class, you’ll have two other chances this week to brush up on your cooking skills.
