AMC 42nd Family Fun New Year’s Eve, New York City, NY

The AMC is a great budget-friendly and family-friendly way to spend the holiday! The all-ages level of AMC Times Square is on the third floor, where there will be tons of entertainment options for you and your kids. The latest blockbuster hits will be playing all night (PG-13 and below) and concession stands will have your favorite movie snacks. It’s alcohol-free, regardless of age, and tickets start at $29.

Midnight on Main Street, Patchogue, NY

There's no better place to celebrate on Long Island than in Patchogue right on Main Street. Experience the excitement of ringing in the New Year with live entertainment, a ball drop, and to top it all off a huge display of fireworks. Food and drinks won't be hard to come by, as all of the nearby restaurants will be hosting NYE festivities of their own. See Main Street like you've never seen it before!

D&B Albany Adult New Year’s Eve Celebration, Albany, NY

Dave & Buster’s in Albany is ringing in the new year with an exclusive celebration that includes options for eating, drinking, playing, and partying. Packages start at $48 per person and come with a dinner buffet of all your favorite D&B foods. The party will end with a champagne toast at midnight. In addition to this 21+ event, D&B also has a family event at 1 p.m. on December 31.

Bowlmor Times Square, New York City, NY

Bowlmor Times Square is located just a few blocks from the live ball drop. The celebration starts at 8 p.m. and is a ton of fun for every age! Tickets start at $69, and there’s a five-hour open bar (so drink responsibly if you bring some little ones). Private bowling lanes are available at an extra cost. There will be a live countdown to 2019 and a champagne toast at midnight.

Mullers Cider House New Year’s Eve Celebration, Rochester, NY

Mullers Cider is celebrating from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. on the 31st while they ring in the new year and celebrate their fourth year of business. Tickets are $50 each and come with a bottle of champagne-style corked cider (to drink at midnight), unlimited hors d’oeuvres, music, a cash bar, and more! It’s recommended you dress to impress, so put on your best attire and come join the party!

New Year’s Eve Keg Drop Party at Pennings Farm Market, Warwick, NY

Pennings’ fifth annual Keg Drop Party counts down to the new year with Crowd Theory on stage. This four-person rock bands comes from the Hudson Valley and customizes their set based on their audience to keep you high-spirited all night long. The $20 general admission ticket includes a complimentary midnight champagne toast, a photo backdrop, and party snacks all night long. There’s a $25 table seating ticket that allows you to reserve a table, if you’d like a guaranteed place to sit and snack.

Ring in 2019 at the Landing, Lower Landing, Coxsackie, NY

DJ Droop will be playing music all night long as you dance your way into 2019. Tickets are $25 per person and the event starts lasts from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Lower Landing will be serving local beer, wine, cider, punch, and sangrias at the bar, and each ticket includes one drink of choice and a bar food buffet. Rides home are available after the ball drop, so you’ll have a responsible way to get there if you don’t bring a designated driver!

Family New Year’s Eve Party at the Castle Fun Center, Chester, NY

Celebrate with your family and kids at the Castle Fun Center from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person in advance ($30 day-of). Activities include laser tag, arcade games, a rock wall, a laser maze, and go karts (weather permitting). You can roller skate until 8 p.m., at which point the floor becomes available for dancing leading up to the balloon drop/confetti cannon celebration to end the night!

New Year’s Eve Gala, Bear Mountain, NY

The gala at Bear Mountain Inn starts at 8 p.m. and costs $150 per person. Evening includes an open bar all night (with a cocktail hour from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.), passed hors d’oeuvres, a full-service dinner from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., a live DJ, and a champagne toast at midnight. The event is capped off with a breakfast-to-go bag distributed at 1 a.m.

NYE Black and White Masquerade at Bar Louie, Buffalo, NY

The black and white masquerade at Bar Louie Buffalo says goodbye to 2018 in style. This event is an ode to the Grand Masked Ball hosted by Truman Capote in 1966. At $50 a pop, you’ll get a complimentary champagne toast, party favors, and four drink tickets. Formal attire isn’t required, and masks aren’t required but they are encouraged to join in the fun.
