About Us:
Established on December 19,1976 , Bronx Dance Theatre offers professional dance classes in Classical Ballet (Russian technique), Broadway Jazz, Tap, Contemporary ,Modern (Horton and Graham techniques),West African Dance, Hip-Hop, Flamenco, and Belly Dance.
Our strong emphasis on classical dance techniques distinguishes Bronx Dance Theatre from all the other dance programs in the Bronx. BDT offers quality professional training. Many of our students attend Specialized Performing Arts High Schools and Colleges. Our students have gone on to appear in Major Motion Pictures, tour with Major Artists, perform on Broadwayand in National and International Dance Companies. Our students learn discipline while experiencing the joy of dance. We prepare Bronx youth to become professional dancers and independent and productive citizens.
