Eataly NYC Flatiron has a cannoli bar that has two crunchy house-made shells available: classic or chocolate-covered. You can choose to have your cannoli filled with one of ten flavors of sweet ricotta, including the traditional Sicilian sheep’s milk ricotta. The cannolis are then rolled in one of 17 toppings (again, your choice) that range from dark chocolate to Amarena cherries. All-in-all, Eataly has over 340 cannoli combinations you can create.

Lake Effect Ice Cream, Lockport, NY

Lake Effect Ice Cream is an artisan ice cream place whose unique flavors can’t be found anywhere else. They have ten different artisan sundaes, like the Chesterfield and Chips (made with chocolate covered potato chips on Couch Potato and Peanut Butter Epiphany ice cream) and the House Chocolate Volcano (made with House Chocolate ice cream, hollowed out and filled with hot fudge). Be sure to check out some of their signature flavors, too, such as the Frozen Hot Chocolate, Whiskey Brown Sugar, and Paula’s Glazed Donut.

Apple Pie Bakery Cafe, Hyde Park, NY

This cafe has 13 different desserts for you to try (meaning you have go back thirteen times and get a new dessert without getting bored). One of their more unique options is a Fruity Pebbles Éclair with pâte à choux, sweetened whipped cream, and white chocolate plaque. You can also get a Raspberry Grasshopper with chocolate flourless cake, mint mousse, raspberry jam, and chocolate Chantilly.

LuGia’s Ice Cream, Spencerport, NY

LuGia’s Ice Cream is a little shop in Spencerport that started by chance and now serves 53 flavors of hard ice cream, one flavor of sherbet, two flavors of yogurt, twelve flavors of vegan, and five flavors of custard (depending on the season). Hard ice cream flavors include Bubblegum, Fireball, Kahlua Almond Amaretto, Playdough, Sponge Candy, and White Lightning. They even have lactose free and vegan options!

The Whistling Kettle, Troy, NY

The Whistling Kettle has four different desserts to choose from: a three-layer carrot cake, flourless chocolate cake, lemon berry mascarpone, and a cheesecake made from Godiva chocolate. Each of these desserts is rich, delectable, and the perfect way to finish off a meal. Or, if you’re looking to have a dessert as your meal, they have seven flavors of sweet crepes to choose from, including Gluten Free, Berries & Cream, Bananas Foster, Peaches & Cream, Lemon Cream Burst, Nutty Monkey, and Caramel Apple.

Dolce Delight, Ithaca, NY

Dolce Delight’s desserts span from cookies to pies to tiramisu cheesecake. Their cupcake selection changes daily, so be sure to stop in from time to time to see what flavors are available! They serve Purity brand ice cream alongside 14 different flavors of pie (15 if it’s Autumn and pumpkin is in stock). Flavors include the classic apple, triple berry, rhubarb, and peach. They also have 10 different types of cookies, from the ever-loved chocolate to the Italian butter almond.

Sweet Frog Premium Frozen Yogurt, Cicero, NY

At Sweet Frog, you can create your own frozen yogurt concoctions—mixing flavors you think (or know) you’ll enjoy and coating them with toppings you love. Flavors range from non-fat to low-fat to non-dairy, and there are even some that have no added sugars. Pair some favorites that are sure to complement each other, like Irish Mint, New York Cheesecake, and Orchard Cherry. From there, add-on however many toppings you want, up to 72 different ones that include caramel cups, gummy worms, nerds, and waffle pieces.

The Waffle Factory, Webster, NY

The Waffle Factory in Webster serves delectable Belgian waffles—which, usually, you’d consider breakfast foods, right? But not this time. They have 38 different types of waffles, ranging from the Original (topped only with powdered sugar) to the Double Dutch, which has bananas, cookie butter, and homemade factory fudge. Some of their flavors are so sweet (like the s’mores, topped with graham cracker crumbles, Hershey’s chocolate sauce, and toasted marshmallows) that you’d have a hard time considering them anything but a dessert.
