We start with a difficult and challenging source -perhaps a classical text filled with heightened language and epic themes, or a piece completely non-theatrical material or a timeless children's classic. Then we turn it on its head, and then work like crazy to make it come alive for a contemporary audience willing to hop on the train and accompany us on the journey.
