Plan your visit to the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park during Memorial Day weekend as we remember those who fought for our freedom. Veterans will receive free admission to the Naval Park on Memorial Day.

The following ceremonies are free and open to the public on Monday, May 29:

9:30 AM: Musical Performance by the Buffalo Brass Quintet near the Vietnam Memorial

10:00 AM: Military Honors and Non-Denominational Memorial Service
Presented in partnership with The Battle Within Foundation
near the Vietnam Memorial

11:00 AM: Knights of Columbus Maximilian Kolbe Assembly #1944 Ceremony and Formation

12:00 PM: Hispanic Veterans Ceremony at the Hispanic-American Veterans Memorial

1:00 PM: Vietnam Veterans Ceremony at the Vietnam Memorial

2:00 PM: African American Veterans Monument Ceremony to Commemorate and Honor the life of PFC David Evans Jr.

6:30 PM: Slow Roll Buffalo Memorial Day Ride

For the fourth year in a row, 7,300 flags will blanket the grounds of the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park throughout Memorial Day weekend to represent the average number of United States Veterans who have lost their battle with PTSD per year, an average of 22 per day. From May 27 - 29, walk or drive by the Naval Park to see the installation, made possible by the Battle Within Foundation.
