Our Mission

The mission of the Long Island Science Center is to promote the knowledge and love of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

The Long Island Science Center's exhibits and programs educate through an interactive and exciting learning environment and is a resource for families, teachers and students. Lectures and demonstrations of general topics of scientific interest at offered. Companies have the opportunity to highlight and share with the public innovations in science and technology.

Hours:Wednesday-Friday from 12pm-4pm and Saturday from 11am-4pm.

Fun morning with my almost 3 year old. We learned while playing which is always a win. The staff were friendly. Booked my sons birthday party here spontaneously because of how impressed I was.

My daughter spend hours here and had blast! The staff was friendly and aimed to help in a instances. All of the interactive activities were fun and educational. We will go back very soon!

This is such a great place for young kids! the activities are fun and the staff is so friendly. where else can you go for 5 bucks and do crafts and play? if you are looking for a cute place to spend a couple hours, check this place out.
