Jamaica Performing Arts Center (JPAC) is a mid-size, multipurpose performance venue housed in a completely renovated 1858 landmark building - the former First Reformed Dutch Church of Jamaica. Built in the early Romanesque revival style and designed by master carpenter Sidney J. Young, with the assistance of master mason Anders Peterson, the building features a gabled brick facade with brownstone trim, arched entryways, asymmetrical towers. This beautiful 400-seat theater is surrounded by stained glass windows giving the space an almost ethereal quality.

JPAC was awarded the Lucy G. Moses Award, the NY Landmarks Conservancy’s highest award honoring outstanding achievement in preservation. It has become a showcase for local, regional and national artists and performers. The state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems enhance the experience all the more. JPAC is destined to become one of the premier destination spots in New York City for intimate concerts and other performances.

Close to major transportation, JPAC can be configured to accommodate a variety of events - from concerts and fashion shows, to film festivals and spectacular weddings. JPAC is the venue for your next occasion!
