We stayed here and it was wonderful! So clean, bathrooms are clean, even fully rented it wasn't overcrowded or loud. We had a beautiful stream running right behind our tent too! The staff was friendly and helpful, mining was fun and we have lots of nice stones to bring home. I highly recommend it!!

I absolutely love Crystal Grove. Last year, my girlfriend and I visited to mine for a day, this time we mined, camped the night, and mined again the next day. The staff here is super-friendly and very helpful. They remembered us from last year and greeted us as if they'd known us for years. Tool rental is easy and quick. Even if you break it, they'll take it back and return your deposit. They offer firewood and ice after-hours on the "honor system" - drop the money or square-up in the morning, which is really handy. As far as the camping grounds, we really enjoyed how nice they were - just the right amount of privacy in the woods. We were assigned one space and fell in love with the neighboring one and they changed our reservation with a smile. We ended up staying in the "primitive tenting" (no hook-ups), which goes back to the creek, and we set up our tent creekside. The ambiance and privacy were worth way more than the small amount we spent to camp. 20/10 - Absolutely would recommend this place time and again.

Campground was neat, clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. New owners were friendly and talked about the changes under their management and future plans. Camp sites were large and shady. Mines were open and active for campers or day use. We explored 3 campgrounds in the area to find a place to camp and after checking them all out, returned to Chrystal Grove for a true camping experience. Cannot wait for our weekend at camp!
