Cooperstown Winter Carnival

About Us:
The Cooperstown Winter Carnival (CWC), a long-time traditional winter festival, began in 1967 with the intention of offering a variety of activities for residents and tourists to Cooperstown during the early winter month of February. The CWC brings people out into the cold and gives them a reason to celebrate with their friends, neighbors, and visitors. Each year the CWC creates new and exciting events, while bringing the same traditions back that people have come to expect.

The CWC is coordinated by a team of 11 volunteers and involves hundreds of businesses and organizations that provide support, resources, and programs and activities. We look forward to seeing you at the Cooperstown Winter Carnival!
