Our Mission:

The Anderson Center for the Arts is a facility as well as a program.

The Anderson Center as a program consists of all presentations by its varied users, one of which is the Centers own administration which books outside music/theater/dance performances as part of a major world class concert series for the region. This series has, in the main, an international profile underscoring the University's emphasis on diversity - therefore, global concerns.

A special venue for the Southern Tier of NY. Only 22 rows of seats makes for a very intimate setting. Some of the most respected artists in the world have played here. The acoustics are phenomenal! One of the best sounding venues in the USA in my opinion (I've been to theaters and amphitheatres across the country). Wonderful venue with a friendly volunteer staff. Re-entry is permitted. Open year round. This theater opens up for lawn seating during the summer months.

Very nice theater to see a act. Easy in and out with free parking or paid parking for a reasonable fee. The only thing that they need to make more clear is that the only beverage you can bring to a seat is water other then that looking to go back soon.

Good parking right next door to the Anderson Center. Too bad there was no signage to know exactly where to go in the building. We went around the center, only to find the entrance we needed was right next to where we parked. The ushers tried to give directions, but we still got lost. Otherwise, a nice place to host theatre works.
